EARLY LEARNERS
These are the most important years of a child’s schooling as it prepares them with all the foundational skills required for future learning. Play-based learning is vital for these children to learn so at Little People Tutoring, learning through play is the key to these sessions.
READING
These skills include the alphabet, the concept of print, phonological awareness, phonics, high-frequency words, and fluency.
WRITING
Mastering the foundational skills of handwriting, spelling, vocabulary and sentence construction is essential so that early learners can clearly communicate their ideas in writing.
MATHEMATICS
There are a wide variety of numeracy skills that involve understanding numbers, counting, solving number problems, measuring, estimating, sorting, noticing patterns, adding and subtracting numbers, and so on.
